The construction workers are already on site and are in the process of building their own small homes. In Thailand, workers for building projects often build small huts near each project and live on the property until the project is completed.  Posted by Picasa

Here is the location of the new orphanage. It is surrounded by tilled soil that will be planted with corn. The new orphanage will eventually house 50 children and will be 3 stories in height. Currently, there are 11 children that attend school that are without parents. Several are children of HIV parents...a very prevalent situation in Thailand and other very destitute countries.  Posted by Picasa

The real purpose of this trip was to discuss blueprints for a proposed building project of a new orphanage. Our driver is from a mission group that facilitates and funds mission projects that are initiated by nationals in Thailand. He came to discuss the project costs with the Pastor and to see the property where the orphanage will be built.  Posted by Picasa

This is another game being played by all of the children. The children have straws in their mouths and are passing a rubber band from one straw to another. Again, the first team to make it from the beginning of the line to the bottom will win. Great fun! Posted by Picasa

All of the children came together in the afternoon for games. Each row is a team and the object is to move together to a basket in the very front of the room. The first team to reach the basket is the winner.  Posted by Picasa
