What a treat! Marion Wilke and her daughter Julia came to Thailand on a vacation. We met at their hotel and had dinner at a wonderful German restaurant in downtown Chiang Mai. Marion wrote for the Rockford Register Star for many years. Her daughter Julia is moving to El Paso, Texas to work for the Gannett newspaper chain. I got acquainted with Marion more personally through the Kiwanis Downtown Club where she has served as the newsletter editor. What a joy to have visitors from the states and to share the story of my journey to Grace International School.
